Medication

The management team are the only ones who are allowed to administer medicines to children.  Staff cannot be responsible for administering medication to children. If it is absolutely necessary for a child to be given medication, the reason must be discussed with a member of the management team. Nursery staff has the right to refuse medicine to children. Parents/carers will be informed of the reason for this decision.
